2022 Estate Shiraz
McLaren Vale
95 points James Suckling "The wines from this producer push well above their pricing weight. Restrained iodine, purple flower and blue fruit notes. The finish shows hints of iron, with some kelp and its maritime lift, so intrinsic to the toothsomeness of the better wines of the Vale. Very, very good. Drink or hold." Ned Goodwin MW Senior Editor
93 points The Wine Front - "Lloyd Brothers, I feel is a producer that’s on the up. Rich, supple and succulent Shiraz here. There’s blue and black fruit, and iodine/seaweed thing, some biscuit spice, and a little mint. It’s full-bodied, offers some dry and sooty tannin grip, a gentle blood orange tang to acidity, and finishes long and saline. There’s also something of a peanut flavour in the mix too. In short, a very good and savoury expression of McLaren Vale Shiraz." Gary Walsh
