2022 Estate Pinot Noir Rose

Adelaide Hills

Lloyd Brothers Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir Rosé is made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the Lloyd Brothers cool climate vineyards in the Adelaide Hills. Fruit was handpicked from Block 7a and 5b of David Lloyd’s Adelaide Hills Estate on The Range (Kuitpo) and from Block C of Matthew Lloyd’s Oakwood vineyard in the Adelaide Hills.
Pale pink in colour with lifted floral aromas highlighted by fresh strawberries. The palate is bursting with bright red berries, pink grapefruit with a hint of fresh watermelon. This rosé has a bright, refreshing finish and is best enjoyed chilled.

“One of the best pinot noir-based rosé wines I have tasted. Enticing pink floral perfume, peach and melon with sliced strawberry too. The palate is fleshy and held together with bright acidity. Impressive.” Nick Stock

“Strawberry, watermelon rind, slightly peachy with a subtle bubblegum ester character, and some dried herb. It’s quite zesty and grapefruity, some sour yoghourt lees flavour, chalky texture, and a sappy orange peel and spice finish of solid length. A fair bit of crunch and energy, and all up pretty good drinking.” Gary Walsh

“A perfumed nose of rose petal, sliced strawberries and sweet thyme. Medium-bodied with juicy texture. Fruity and zippy with a refreshing finish. Made from 100% pinot noir. Drink now. Screw cap.” James Suckling
